To ensure that all septic systems in Severn are properly maintained and functioning, Township of Severn follows the Discretionary and Mandatory On-Site Sewage System Maintenance Inspection Program outlined in the Ontario Building Code, which supports the Clean Water Act. Plan establishes Council priorities
The four strategic priorities outlined in this Plan will guide Council’s work over the 2023 to 2026 term. Severn's goal is to build a healthy and connected community where people come first, and where everyone has access to the resources they need. Road closure for Laughlin Falls Road on April 21

Notice of road closure
Laughlin Falls Road (Lovering Line to Taylor Line) will be closed on Friday, April 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 200 p.m. for cross culvert replacement.
Local traffic is permitted but there will be no through access at Lovering Line.
