Volunteers connect and strengthen our community
National Volunteer Week (NVW) is April 16 to 22, 2023. This week is an important opportunity to recognize and thank volunteers in Severn and around the country for their contributions that benefit and support our communities.
The NVW theme for 2023 is Volunteering Weaves us Together. This campaign highlights how volunteers are vital to the strength and vibrancy of our communities, and how the actions we take through volunteerism connect us to one another. By sharing their time and talents, volunteers build and enhance the strength of our communities.
For NVW, Severn would like to say thank you and celebrate the hundreds of hours local volunteers have dedicated to our community. Your kindness, understanding, and generosity make us stronger.
