Fire Ban in effect
Effective August 7, the Fire Danger Rating in Severn is set to Extreme and the Township has issued a municipal-wide Fire Ban. With the Fire Ban in place, no burning of any kind is permitted. Fireworks are not allowed.
Residential water use can increase by up to 50 percent during the summer months. This increased water use puts more strain on Severn’s water supply and distribution systems. To help conserve water and reduce costs, our Lawn Watering By-law restricts water usage from May 15 to November 1 for any properties serviced by the municipal water system.
