As of August 20, the Fire Ban has been LIFTED and the Fire Danger Rating in Severn has been set to MODERATE. Burning is permitted.
Please burn with caution, as conditions can change quickly, even with the recent rain and forecasted cooler temperatures. Never leave a fire unattended.
Residential water use can increase by up to 50 percent during the summer months. This increased water use puts more strain on Severn’s water supply and distribution systems. To help conserve water and reduce costs, our Lawn Watering By-law restricts water usage from May 15 to November 1 for any properties serviced by the municipal water system.
