Parking in Severn is regulated through the Parking By-law.

Parking permits

Effective June 14 to September 7, parking at Washago Centennial Park requires a free resident parking permit.

Severn residents can get a free parking permit online and print it at home. If you don't have a printer, please contact us and we will mail your permit to you. Each household is eligible for two parking permits.

Residents can also get parking permits for select locations in Ramara and Orillia using our Parking Permit Application. Make sure to display your resident parking permit face up on your dashboard with the corresponding vehicle licence plate number.

Ramara parking permit

Severn residents can get a free parking permit to park at the following locations in Ramara:

  • Bluebird Park
  • Lagoon City Beach and Park
  • Lovely Day Park
  • The Steps (on-street parking)

View maps of the parking areas in Ramara.

Ramara parking permits are free for those who live in Severn.

The reciprocal agreement with the Township of Ramara also allows Ramara residents to use their free Ramara parking permit in Severn.
