Junior Fire Fit Challenge
Registration is now open for our annual Junior Fire Fit Challenge.
The goal of the challenge is to promote fire safety education and give youth a taste of what it’s like to be a firefighter.
The challenge features an obstacle course designed for kids five to nine years old. This fun, hands-on challenge is designed to challenge the participants both physically and mentally, encourage integrity, perseverance, and build self-confidence, and educate youth about fire prevention and fire safety.
Each participant will be teamed with a Severn firefighter to complete the course. The firefighter will explain or demonstrate each activity, and the junior firefighter will wear a bunker coat and a mock air pack during the challenge.
The Junior Fire Fit Challenge will take place at the Coldwater Fall Fair at 11 Michael Anne Drive on September 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Pre-registration for the challenge is required and can be completed online using the form below. Registration is limited to 50 participants.
