Important Billing Notice
Account numbers were changed in 2024 as we upgraded to a new financial system. If you pay your water/sewer bill or your tax bill at your bank, whether in person, using online apps, or at a bank machine, please update your account numbers. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has declared a nationwide strike. Please remember, even during mail disruptions, all penalties, interest, or fines remain in effect. We are unable to make exceptions for late payments. You can easily view and manage your water, sewer, and tax bill payments through our eServices platform at: eservices.severn.ca. Roadways that remain closed as of April 3 at 3:00 p.m. are those that have downed powerlines and are awaiting Hydro One clearance. Once Hydro One has cleared any powerlines and declared the area safe, Township staff will move in to clear the debris.
Township of Severn will be holding a hybrid Public Meeting on April 16, 2025, during the Planning and Development Committee meeting scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at Severn's Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane) to consider the complete Zoning By-law Amendment applications Z-24-11 and Z-25-05 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.
The road closures for Hampshire Mills Line (from Maple Valley Road to Cambrian Road) and Burnside Line (Maple Valley Road to Jeremy Road) have been lifted.
