Important Billing Notice
Account numbers were changed in 2024 as we upgraded to a new financial system. If you pay your water/sewer bill or your tax bill at your bank, whether in person, using online apps, or at a bank machine, please update your account numbers. Based on beach water testing results taken on August 6, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) has lifted the swimming advisory for Washago Centennial Park beach as E. Coli levels no longer exceed the recreational guidelines.

The fire danger rating in Severn has been set to EXTREME. A municipal-wide Fire Ban is now in effect.
Township of Severn continues work on the major culvert replacement on Wainman Line approximately 650 metres north of Division Road West (between Riverwood Lane and Carriage Court). This culvert replacement has required a long-term road closure that began in September 2024. The project is anticipated to be completed by Fall 2025.
Township of Severn offers various grants and funding to community groups, not-for-profits, and charitable organizations that aim to improve the well-being and quality of life for residents of our community. Applications can now be submitted online as part of our annual Community Grant program. The deadline to submit applications for consideration by Council this year is September 30.
Earl Haid Avenue (Upper Big Chute Road to the Severn Falls dock) will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2 for the Severn River Association of Property Owners (SRAPO) 46th annual Regatta.
