Curbside brush and debris collection update
The County of Simcoe remains committed to supporting our community and those most affected by the ice storm by facilitating the collection of brush and debris.
Residents are requested to place all brush and debris safely at the curb or roadside by Monday, May 19.
After this date, crews will conduct a final collection in Severn, which may take several weeks to complete.
Free brush and debris drop-off at all waste facilities until the end of June
The County has also waived brush drop-off fees at all County waste facilities until the end of June. Dropping off brush at a waste facility is the fastest way for residents to clear debris off their property. Note that root balls are not considered brush and will be charged at the full waste disposal rate.
For any inquiries regarding brush pick-up, please contact Service Simcoe via email at service@simcoe.ca or by phone at 705-735-6901.
The County will continue to communicate with residents through social media and the Simcoe County Collects App. Download the app to access the most up-to-date information and to receive collection notifications directly to your device.
