In preparation for construction, OZA Inspections is completing pre-construction condition surveys for properties located adjacent to the construction area. These voluntary surveys are completed at no cost to property owners and help document existing property conditions before construction begins.
Township of Severn will be completing ditching work on Confederation Drive, Pine Avenue, and Ridley Boulevard from July 13 to July 24, 2026. Work will take place daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Improvements will help water drain from the road into the ditch system and move more easily through the storm drainage system.
Our Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn) will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, for the Canada Day holiday. The office will reopen on Tuesday, June 2, at 8:30 a.m.
Port Stanton Parkway at Torpitt Road will be closed for emergency railway crossing repairs on Thursday, June 25, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Road closures will be in place from 4343 Hamilton Street to the corner of County Road 169 starting Tuesday, June 30, at 12:00 p.m., until Thursday, July 2, at 9:00 a.m., for Canada Day celebrations. The event will include a rolling closure of Muskoka Street (Ramsay Street to 3394 Muskoka Street) from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 1 for the parade.
Coldwater Road (Mill Street to Sturgeon Bay Road) and Mill Street from east of Eplett Street to Coldwater Road will be closed for the Coldwater Pride Market on Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Fire Danger Rating in Severn has been set to MODERATE. Please burn with caution, as conditions can change quickly, even with the recent rain and forecasted cooler temperatures. Never leave a fire unattended.
