Notice of ditching work: Shoreview Drive, Treeline Drive, and Sandcastle Court area

Township of Severn will be completing ditching work on Shoreview Drive, Treeline Drive, and Sandcastle Court from June 15 to June 19, 2026.

Work will take place daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

The work will include removing sediment from ditches, replacing or removing some culverts, and lowering high shoulders. These improvements will help water drain from the road into the ditch system and move more easily through the storm drainage system.

Please note that some underground communication lines may be located close to the surface in the work area. If you experience any disruption to phone, internet, or cable service during or after the work, please contact your service provider directly.

No impacts to traffic are expected. There will also be no interruption to waste, organics, or recycling collection, or to bus service. Please travel carefully through the work area and watch for staff, signage, and equipment.

After the work is completed, Township staff will restore disturbed areas using Terraseeding. Terraseeding is a method of placing grass seed into composted organic soil using specialized equipment. This process helps promote grass growth and reduces the chance of seed being washed or blown away.
