Notice of road closure for the Westshore Santa Claus parade on December 7

Armand Avenue to 2700 Cumberland Road will be subject to rolling closures on Sunday, December 7, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the fifth annual Westshore Santa Claus parade. The parade staging area on Buena Vista Drive (Azcona Avenue to Armand Avenue) will be closed from 1:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. and end at the Hope Community Church (2700 Cumberland Road). Post-parade seasonal activities, including pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, will take place at the church. 

Join the Westshore Events Committee, members of Council, community members, local businesses and neighbours in celebration of the holiday season. All are welcome to attend.

Please abide by parking and traffic control signs. Every second counts in an emergency. If vehicles are blocking entry or exit to properties or preventing access to roads not listed as part of the road closure, this could have an effect on emergency response times.
