Swim advisory LIFTED for Washago Centennial Park beach

Based on beach water testing results taken on August 28, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) has LIFTED the swimming advisory for Washago Centennial Park beach issued on August 21. Learn more at: severn.ca/notices.

Office and facilities closure on September 1

Our Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane) and facilities will be closed on Monday, September 1, for the Labour Day holiday. We’ll reopen on Tuesday, September 2, at 8:30 a.m. Council and staff are wishing everyone a happy and safe long weekend.

Notice of walkway resurfacing at Washago Centennial Park

August 29, 2025

Resurfacing of the walkways at Washago Centennial Park (3376 Quetton Street) will start on Tuesday, September 2, at 8:00 a.m. 

Access to the paths will be limited during this work. 

This project is expected to be completed within three days.
