Road closure due to watermain break on River Street in Coldwater

The watermain break on River Street has been repaired and service has been restored to the affected properties.

Road work continues, with the road expected to open early this evening.

An update will be provided when the road reopens.

Public Works is responding to a watermain break on River Street in Coldwater.

River Street is closed from Brick Pond Road to Harriet Street until repairs are complete.

Crews are currently on site, and repairs are underway. Updates will be shared as they become available.

Residents may experience discoloured water, low pressure, or temporary loss of water. Running cold taps for a few minutes usually clears discolouration. There is no boil water advisory at this time.

Affected customers will receive a hand-delivered notice from Severn’s Water and Wastewater Department about this service impact. An additional hand-delivered notice will be distributed when service resumes.
