Severn Connects: Where Service Meets Community

Township of Severn is once again inviting residents to Severn Connects, a family-friendly outdoor event that brings municipal services, programs, and resources together in one place.

“Severn Connects is about making it easier for residents to connect with their Township in a friendly, accessible way,” said Mayor Mike Burkett. “By bringing staff, services, information, and family-friendly activities into local spaces, we are creating more opportunities for residents to ask questions, learn about Township programs, and feel connected to the community we all share.”

The July events will offer residents the opportunity to meet Township staff in person, ask questions, access information about municipal services, and learn more about Township programs and initiatives.

Residents can also enjoy more activities for kids, refreshments, a few of the Township's biggest fleet vehicles, an Instagram frame/photo opportunity, and community partner booths from the County of Simcoe, OPP, and Kool FM, making this year’s event even more welcoming and fun for families. Residents can also enter for a chance to win a gift basket and pick up free swag from staff.

Severn Connects is designed to make it easier for residents to connect with Township services and community partners closer to home in a relaxed and community-focused setting.

• Wednesday, July 8 | Coldwater Fairgrounds | 11 Michael Anne Drive | 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Thursday, July 9 | Timberline Creek Park | 3581 Timberline Avenue | 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
