Changes to your account number
Due to a change to our financial software in 2024, your water and sewer account number also changed at that time. In advance of paying this bill, we are asking that all customers who pay using online or telephone banking check that their account number is correct and matches the new account number.
You will need to add your new account number (Account No. coloured in red located to the left of your Civic Add.) to your online banking to pay your bill online or by telephone banking.
When you pay your bill using online or telephone banking, you must enter the account number as shown in red. The data base at your bank does not accept decimals or dashes, only numbers and letters.
In this example below, you would use 0001234C00.
Visit our Paying Your Bill page to learn more about payment options or to register for a pre-authorized payment plan that will allow you to set up automatic withdrawals from your account.

You will find detailed instructions on how to register for your eServices account on the back of your water and sewer bill. There is a unique sign-up key and customer code that you will need to enter to create your account.

Lawn Watering By-law
Severn is committed to reducing water use, loss, and waste. We promote water conservation and encourage you to do your part to help reduce water usage and protect our water for generations to come.
To help conserve water and reduce costs, our Lawn Watering By-law restricts water usage from May 15 to November 1.
If you live at an:
- even-numbered address, you can water your lawn on even-numbered days
- odd-numbered address, you can water your lawn on odd-numbered days
You can water from the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The outdoor watering ban issued for Bass Lake Woodlands subdivision on May 26 continues to be in place to guarantee the reliability of the system for present water consumption. It is anticipated that this restriction will be removed in the upcoming weeks once well #2 is operational. Residents will receive a hand-delivered notice when the ban is lifted. We appreciate the patience of the Bass Lake Woodlands community.
Conservation tips
Here are some tips to help you conserve water:
- don't over water your lawn (it only requires 2.5 centimetres of water per week)
- only run your dishwasher and washing machines when fully loaded
- invest in water and energy saving units
- invest in water saving fixtures, such as low-flow toilets and water wise showerheads
- use a broom instead of a hose to clean sidewalks and driveways
- cover your swimming pool to limit evaporation by 90%
