Severn proclaims March as #ITSTARTS Month in Severn and joins the County of Simcoe campaign to promote and support diversity, inclusion, and equity in our communities.
Effective March 8, 2025 seasonal load restrictions will be in place throughout the Township of Severn. The Seasonal Load Restrictions By-law restricts loads on most Township roads to a maximum of five tonnes per axle.
The March 8 tax installment due date falls on a weekend. As a result, ratepayers will have until March 10 to pay their taxes without incurring a penalty.
Township of Severn will be holding a hybrid Public Meeting on March 19, 2025, during the Planning and Development Committee meeting scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at Severn's Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane) to consider the following Zoning By-law Amendment application under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Township of Severn deemed application Z-24-14 complete under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13 on February 12, 2025.
Water meter readings are starting the week of February 24 and are expected to be complete by March 14.

The County of Simcoe is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chamber at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre to provide the public and stakeholders with an opportunity to provide feedback on a proposed by-law to change the composition of County Council.
