Water and sewer rates

Water and sewer rates are billed quarterly on a base charge of 68 cubic metres as well as water use overages. View the 2025 water and sewer rates.

Water rates

The 2025 water rate is $224.23 per quarter or $896.90 per year. Any use over 68 cubic metres (m3) is billed at $2.96 per m3.

Sewer rates

The 2025 sewer rate is $223.07 per quarter or $892.29 per year. Any use over 68 cubic metres (m3) is billed at $3.47 per m3.

Water and Sewer Rate Study

The Water and Wastewater Rate Study establishes our water and sewer rates.

The study also includes a long-term Water Financial Plan aimed at funding:

current and future operations
capital expansion related to growth
rehabilitation and eventual replacement of existing systems.

To cover these expenses, adjustments to the water and sewer rates are necessary. An updated study is conducted every few years.
