Coldwater Road (Mill Street to Sturgeon Bay Road) will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 30 for the annual Coldwater Lions Duck Race. A rolling closure will occur on Gray Street (John Street to Coldwater Road to Michael Anne Drive) from 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the parade. 

The event begins at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Coldwater with family fun and vendors. The parade starts at 12:30 p.m., and the ducks will drop at 2:00 p.m. behind the Coldwater Mill (1 Mill Street). 

Parking information

Parking is only permitted in the locations on the Coldwater Lions Club Duck Race Parking and Road Closures Map.

Private parking is available at (map areas coloured in green): 

• Coldwater Funeral Home, 22 Sturgeon Bay Road (1)
• Coldwater United Church, 14 Harriet Street (6)

Parking is permitted on municipal property (map areas coloured bright green (numbers 2, 3, and 4), including:

• Uhthoff Trail Parking Lot, 18 Sturgeon Bay Road (2)
• Coldwater Community Centre, 11 Michael Anne Drive (3)
• Fire Hall Public Parking Lot, (not the Firehall, only the signed municipal parking lot near the corner of Michael Anne Drive and Joseph Street) (4)

Vehicles parked in non-permitted areas will be ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.

Parking is available ONLY in designated areas and active parking enforcement will be in effect.

In the event of an emergency, every second counts. There is no parking permitted on or alongside Firehall Lane. Please do not block driveways, access routes, or park in non-designated areas.
