Coldwater BIA to host Witches Walk on October 16 and family-friendly Trick or Treat Main Street on October 17

The Coldwater Witches Walk returns to downtown Coldwater on Friday, October 16, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Gather your friends, dress up, and enjoy an evening of live entertainment, local vendors, and late-night shopping. The event is free, and costumes are encouraged.

Parking information

Parking will be busy during the Witches Walk. Please use the provided Coldwater BIA parking map, park only in designated areas, and follow all parking and traffic signs.

Parking is available at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Uhthoff Trail parking lot, River Street parking lot (5 River Street), the Coldwater Community Centre parking lot, Coldwater Curling Club, St. Andrew’s Church, Coldwater United Church, and the track at the Coldwater Fairgrounds. Volunteers will direct drivers to the track if the Coldwater Community Centre lot is full.

Street parking is available where permitted. As shown on the map, leave at least nine metres from corners unless signs say otherwise. Vehicles parked in prohibited areas may be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense.

Please keep emergency routes clear. In the event of an emergency, every second counts. There is no parking on Firehall Lane, George Street, or in the Severn Fire Station lot. Do not block driveways, station access routes, or other designated no-parking areas.

More Halloween fun at the Coldwater Mill

Take an evening tour of the Haunted Mill on Friday, October 16, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Presented by The Scream Shack, the event features Halloween-themed displays, atmospheric sets, and plenty of spooky details to discover. Tickets are $10 and available at the Artisan Boutique; the last ticket is sold at 8:30 p.m. The Haunted Mill is also open on October 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31. Learn more on the Coldwater Mill website.

Trick or Treat Main Street

The Coldwater BIA's Trick or Treat Main Street event will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in downtown Coldwater. Join the Coldwater BIA for a fun-filled family afternoon including a trick or treat scavenger hunt, free barbeque for the kids, costume parade, plus more.
