Fall and winter Recreation Guide available now, registration opens tomorrow
New Fall 2026 | Winter 2027 Recreation Guide highlights programs, activities, and community amenities for all ages
Registration opens for the Township of Severn’s Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 recreation programs on Friday, August 21 at 9:00 a.m.
Residents able to explore programs in the Recreation Guide, and register through the Township’s UniverusRec online registration portal.
The Fall 2026 | Winter 2027 Recreation Guide is available on our Recreation Programs page, offering residents a convenient way to discover recreation programs, community facilities, outdoor amenities and activities available throughout Severn.
An easy way to register
Registering for recreation programs is simple and convenient with Severn’s user-friendly UniverusRec online portal.
Participants can browse available programs and register online 24/7 from any device. Families can manage multiple members under one account, securely complete payments, and keep track of their recreation activities in one place.
To register, participants can visit the UniverusRec portal, create an account or sign in to an existing account, select a course, and complete their registration online.
Fall and Winter program registration opens Friday, August 21, at 9:00 a.m.
Something for every age and interest
This fall’s recreation lineup includes a variety of opportunities for adults, seniors, children and youth.
Adult and senior programs include:
- Bead Crazy
- Beginner Watercolour Course
- Beyond Beginner Yoga
- Chair Yoga
- HIIT
- Intro to Free Weights
- Parent-Friendly Sweat and Stretch
- Pilates
- Stretch and Recover Yoga
- Yoga for Resilient Aging
- Zumba Dance Fitness
Programs are offered at the Coldwater (11 Michael Anne Drive) and Washago (4361 Hamilton Street) Community Centres and include options designed to support fitness, creativity, mobility, wellness, and social connection.
Children and youth can also take part in programs such as Tiny Fun Arts and Crafts and Yoga for Youth, while EarlyON programming provides free drop-in opportunities for young children and their families.
The guide also highlights Severn’s free year-round Coffee and Company program for adults ages 55 and older, along with senior drop-in programs including VON activities and shuffleboard.
Looking ahead to winter
Residents can also use the guide to get an early look at Winter 2027 programming, including fitness, yoga, dance, watercolour, and children’s arts programming. March Break activities featured in the guide include Youth Day Camp, a Slime Workshop and a Tote Bag Workshop, which will open for registration on August 21.
