Notice of road closure for the Washago Canada Day celebration
Washago Canada Day celebrations start on June 30
Temporary road closures will be in place from 4343 Hamilton Street to the corner of County Road 169 starting Tuesday, June 30 at 12:00 p.m. for the Washago Canada Day celebrations.
The permitted full and one lane closures from 4343 Hamilton Street to the corner of County Road 169 include:
- June 30 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. will be a full closure
- June 30 July 1 from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. will be a one-lane closure only
- July 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. will be a full closure
- July 1 to July 2 from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. will be a one-lane closure only
Canada Day parade scheduled for July 1
The Washago Canada Day parade is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, at 1:00 p.m. The event will include a rolling closure of Muskoka Street (Ramsay Street to 3394 Muskoka Street) from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

To pre-register for the parade, please email jcox@severn.ca or call 705-345-2336. You can decorate your bike and join in, or walk in the parade to celebrate Canada Day. All are welcome. For details about the Canada Day activities, visit the Washago Lions Club Facebook page.
