Notice of road closures for Coldwater Steampunk and Oddity Days event on August 29

Coldwater Road (Mill Street to Sturgeon Bay Road) and Mill Street (Eplett Street to Coldwater Road) will be closed on Saturday, August 29 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the Coldwater Steampunk and Oddity Days event.

Road users can detour via Michael Anne Drive or open connections to Sturgeon Bay Road and Coldwater Road south of the closure.

This festival honours the steampunk style with a quirky twist, ensuring that attendees are whisked away to a different reality brimming with brass gears, copper pipes, and remarkable inventions. Enjoy local vendors, entertainment, photo opportunities, and family-friendly fun throughout the village. 

Parking reminder

Parking in Coldwater can be especially busy during the Steampunk Festival.

Vehicles parked in non-permitted areas will be ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.

To avoid traffic congestion and limited parking in town, visitors are encouraged to park at the Coldwater Museum, where ample space is available and parking attendants will be on hand to direct vehicles to designated areas.

Parking is $10 per vehicle, and the museum is conveniently located at 1474 Woodrow Road, just a 15-minute walk from downtown Coldwater.

Please abide by parking and traffic control signs, and do not park on Firehall Lane or in the parking lot of Fire Station 3 located at 1 Firehall Lane. Every second counts in an emergency, and if vehicles are blocking the entry or exit to the Fire Station, this could affect response times.
