Registering for recreation programs is now more simple and convenient

With a new user-friendly online portal, participants can browse programs, register 24/7 from any device, and securely pay in just a few clicks.

Families can manage multiple members under one account, while automated confirmations, reminders, and waitlists keep everything organized.

Drop-in programs

Coldwater Fairgrounds (11 Michael Anne Drive): Multi-use sports court

  • When: May 11 to September 10, 2026

Washago Community Centre (4361 Hamilton Street): Outdoor rink surface

  • May to June:

Washago Centennial Park (3376 Quetton Street): Multi-use sports courts

  • When: June 29 to September 11, 2026
  • Days: Mondays
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Fees: Free

This is a fun, non-instructional seasonal drop-in program indoors at the Coldwater Community Centre upstairs hall (11 Michael Anne Drive) that runs from October to April of the next year. Registration is not required. Equipment is provided.

When: October 27, 2026 to April 27, 2027

Day: Tuesday

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Fees: 

  • 1 to 2 hours is $1.50
  • full day is $3.00

If you cannot register online, you can also print and complete our General Registration Form and submit that in person or by mail.

You can drop off a completed General Registration Form and payment at our Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash, debit, and cheque payments. If you choose to pay using Mastercard or Visa, a two percent fee will be applied to your bill. The Township is required to pay a merchant fee (surcharge) to cover the cost of processing each credit card transaction. This fee is applied as a cost-recovery measure to only those transactions that are paid by credit card, and not to other forms of payment.

If you arrive after hours place the form and payment in the drop box located to the left of the front doors to our office.

County of Simcoe provides residents with access to an Age-Friendly Activity Calendar. This calendar is an interactive, user-friendly resource that connects older adults with programs and events designed to support healthy, vibrant, and engaged aging.

Developed in partnership with 211 Community Connection, this digital calendar offers a powerful way to promote local events while enhancing access to information for aging residents. Covering five zones - South Georgian Bay, South Simcoe, North Simcoe, Barrie, and Orillia - the calendar is continually updated and community-driven, ensuring older adults can easily find and participate in meaningful local opportunities.
