If you pay your water/sewer bill or your tax bill at your bank, whether in person, using online apps, or at a bank machine, please update your account numbers. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has declared a nationwide strike. Please remember, even during mail disruptions, all penalties, interest, or fines remain in effect. Division Road West has reopened to traffic as of Wednesday, April 16 at 4:00 p.m.
Our Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn) and facilities will be closed on Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21 for the Easter holiday. We will reopen Tuesday, April 22 at 8:30 a.m.

Township of Severn has cancelled the State of Emergency declaration as of Friday, April 11. The State of Emergency was initially declared on Wednesday, April 2, at 4:30 p.m. under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act as a result of the severe impacts of the ice storm and forecasted weather.

Two roads remain closed as of April 9 at 11:00 a.m. due to downed power lines or for scheduled road work.
Roadways that remain closed as of April 8 at 11:00 a.m. are those that have downed power lines and are awaiting clearance from Hydro One, or are undergoing planned or scheduled road work. Once Hydro One has cleared the power lines and declared the area safe, Township staff will move in to clear the debris.
Division Road West (Wainman Line to Fairgrounds Road) is currently closed to traffic due to unsafe road conditions. As of Tuesday, April 8 at 7:00 a.m., no through traffic will be permitted due to significant digging and road removal to facilitate the replacement of a culvert. The road will remain closed until further notice.
