Temporary office and facility closure on June 16
To celebrate the contributions of the Township of Severn's team, our Administration Office and all facilities will be closed from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16.
Please visit our office before the scheduled lunch closure, or afterwards until 4:30 p.m.

The County of Simcoe’s bi-weekly curbside Leaf and Yard Waste Collection program returns Monday, October 6. Place material out by 7:00 a.m. on the Monday of your garbage collection week. Each resident will receive five bi-weekly collections during this period, ending in early December. Battery collection will occur during Battery Collection Week, beginning Monday, November 3.
Severn's Fire and Emergency Services department has unveiled the newly arrived Rescue truck to Council and the community. This vehicle is a vital asset that supports the Severn Fire and Emergency Services team in fulfilling their role.

Gray Street (John Street to Coldwater Road) and Coldwater Road (Gray Street to Robinson Street) will be closed on Friday, September 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the Coldwater Fall Fair parade. Join the Coldwater and District Agricultural Society, local schools, Township of Severn Council, community members, and neighbours in celebration of the opening of the 132nd Coldwater Fall Fair. To ensure the highest quality of water possible for our community, the Township of Severn will be completing a watermain swabbing program in Coldwater starting Monday, September 29, through to Friday, October 3, 2025.
