Township of Severn is recognizing May 3 to 9 as Emergency Preparedness Week (EP Week) and is encouraging all residents to 'get prepared and know your risks'.

Reconstruction of Bayou Road from Highway 11 to Hedgemere Landing will start in summer 2026. Work will include road upgrades, new sidewalks, better drainage, streetlighting, and a pedestrian crossing.
