Township of Severn continues work on the major culvert replacement on Wainman Line, approximately 650 metres north of Division Road West (between Riverwood Lane and Carriage Court). This culvert replacement project is scheduled to be completed by November 30, 2025.

Effective October 24, 2025, Bridge B28 Hampshire Mills Line, located approximately 1.8 kilometres (km) north of Cambrian Road, will be subject to a load limit of five tonnes (11,000 pounds) as a result of recommendations from a structural inspection.

Coldwater Road (Mill Street to Sturgeon Bay Road) and Mill Street (Eplett Street to Coldwater Road) will be closed on Saturday, October 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Coldwater BIA Trick or Treat Main Street event.
A road closure will be in place on Torpitt Road on Wednesday, October 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for culvert replacement. There will be no through traffic north of 1461 Torpitt Road for the duration of the work.

Township of Severn is now accepting applications for Road Operators for our Winter Control Operations for the upcoming 2025 to 2026 season. These roles are essential to keeping our community safe and accessible during the winter months. The deadline to apply is October 15.
