Township of Severn is making it easier for new residents to feel connected and informed through its Welcome to Severn initiative, a customer-focused program designed to support individuals and families as they settle into the community.

Our Administration Office will close on Friday, January 23, at 3:00 p.m. due to inclement weather.

Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for Severn and area with bitterly cold conditions beginning this evening and continuing into Saturday morning. Wind chill values near -30°C to -40°C are expected overnight.

A recent equipment issue at Severn Estates may have caused temporary discoloured water for some residents. The issue has been resolved, but minimal residual discolouration may be observed. The water remains safe for drinking.

Township of Severn has completed the comprehensive Servicing Master Plan (SMP) to evaluate water, wastewater, and stormwater servicing strategies to accommodate growth. View the report or provide comments by February 11, 2026.

On Wednesday, March 18, we’re offering two engaging art-based workshops that give youth a chance to explore their creativity, build confidence, and connect with others in a welcoming environment. Both programs will be led by instructor Alex Long.
