Public Works is responding to a watermain break near Coldwater Public School on John Street. The affected area includes George Street, part of John Street, and a small section of Firehall Lane (approximately 28 users).
Through a partnership agreement with the Township of Georgian Bay, a limited number of free parking passes for Port Severn Park and Beach (17 Port Severn Road North) are available for Severn residents on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn) will be closed on Monday, February 16, for the Family Day holiday. The office will reopen on Tuesday, February 17, at 8:30 a.m. Visit our Administration Office this week (February 11, 12, and 13) during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.) for in-person service.
Water service was restored at 6:30 a.m. this morning following the watermain break that occurred on February 11 near Coldwater Public School on John Street. The affected area included George Street, a portion of John Street, and a small section of Firehall Lane (approximately 28 properties). The affected area is not under a boil water advisory.
