Final tax bills were mailed in June. The first instalment was due August 8, and the second instalment is due on October 8.

Bayou Road will be temporarily closed from Grand Tamarack Crescent to Hedgemere Landing on Monday, October 5 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as contractors lay the final layer of asphalt.

Township of Severn will begin approximately $953,823 in safety improvements at the intersection of Burnside Line and Division Road on September 29.

Township of Severn welcomed residents to the Washago Community Centre on September 21 for an open house celebrating Stay Active Stay Connected, a free recreation and social program for adults 55+ funded by the Government of Ontario through the Seniors Community Grant program.

Gray Street (George Street to Coldwater Road) and Coldwater Road (Gray Street to Robinson Street) will be closed on Friday, September 25 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the Coldwater Fall Fair parade. 

Wainman Line will be temporarily closed near 1542 Wainman Line on Tuesday, September 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the replacement of a cross-road culvert.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Township of Severn will be holding a hybrid Public Meeting on October 7, 2026, during the Council meeting scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Township’s Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane) to consider the following Zoning By-law Amendment application under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

Uhthoff Line will be closed north of Warminster Road on Monday, September 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a culvert replacement. There will be no through traffic at the work area during the closure. Local access will be maintained on either side of the closure, but vehicles will not be able to travel through the work site.
