Important Billing Notice
Account numbers were changed in 2024 as we upgraded to a new financial system. If you pay your water/sewer bill or your tax bill at your bank, whether in person, using online apps, or at a bank machine, please update your account numbers. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has declared a nationwide strike. Please remember, even during mail disruptions, all penalties, interest, or fines remain in effect. We are unable to make exceptions for late payments. You can easily view and manage your water, sewer, and tax bill payments through our eServices platform at: eservices.severn.ca. Coldwater Road (Mill Street to Sturgeon Bay Road) and Mill Street (Eplett Street to Coldwater Road) will be closed on Saturday, October 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Coldwater BIA Trick or Treat Main Street event.
A road closure will be in place on Torpitt Road on Wednesday, October 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for culvert replacement. There will be no through traffic north of 1461 Torpitt Road for the duration of the work.

Township of Severn is now accepting applications for Road Operators for our Winter Control Operations for the upcoming 2025 to 2026 season. These roles are essential to keeping our community safe and accessible during the winter months. The deadline to apply is October 15.

The County of Simcoe’s bi-weekly curbside Leaf and Yard Waste Collection program returns Monday, October 6. Place material out by 7:00 a.m. on the Monday of your garbage collection week. Each resident will receive five bi-weekly collections during this period, ending in early December. Battery collection will occur during Battery Collection Week, beginning Monday, November 3.
Severn's Fire and Emergency Services department has unveiled the newly arrived Rescue truck to Council and the community. This vehicle is a vital asset that supports the Severn Fire and Emergency Services team in fulfilling their role.
Township of Severn's two active Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) cameras will remain operational in Community Safety Zones, and the Township will announce an end date for the program once provincial legislation is passed.
