The Ministry of Natural Resources– Aurora Midhurst Owen Sound District is advising area residents that a Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Outlook is in effect in the District until Friday, March 20, 2026. Township of Severn has set up self-serve sandbag stations throughout the Township for residents.
Notice of road closure on Maple Valley Road between Hampshire Mill Line and Carlyon Line due to flooding, effective immediately until further notice. Only local residential traffic is allowed in the area.
The sanitary sewage overflow events at the Coldwater Wastewater Collection System and the Westshore Collection System have ended, and normal operations have resumed. Monitoring, testing, and reporting have been ongoing through the event and after it ended.
