Road closure lifted: Nichols Line between Cambrian Road and Highway 11 has reopened.

Notice is hereby given that as of May 1, 2026 nominations may be filed in person, or by an agent, in the Clerk’s Office during normal office hours prior to Nomination Day or on Nomination Day being Friday, August 21, 2026 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Burnside Line and Hampshire Mills Line have reopened after being closed on April 14 due to flooding.

The Ministry of Natural Resources Aurora Midhurst Owen Sound District has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Warning for residents in north Simcoe County, being the Townships of Severn, Ramara, Tiny, and Tay and including, the area of the Severn and Black Rivers around Washago, as well as Sparrow Lake and Lake St. John.

The road closure was lifted on April 20: Burnside Line between Maple Valley Road and Jermey Road is closed due to flooding, effective immediately until further notice.
