The Coldwater Legion Remembrance Day Parade will be taking place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. 

Severn Fire and Emergency Services, Enbridge Gas Ontario (Enbridge Gas), and the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council (FMPFSC) announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

Township of Severn will be holding two hybrid Public Meetings on November 19, 2025, during the Council meeting scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at Severn's Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane) to discuss Zoning By-law Amendment applications Z-25-06 and Z-25-10 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

A road closure will be in place on Mill Street (Coldwater Road to Eplett Street) on Friday, October 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for bridge repair. There will be no through vehicle access between 30 Coldwater Road and 2 Mill Street.

Township of Severn continues work on the major culvert replacement on Wainman Line, approximately 650 metres north of Division Road West (between Riverwood Lane and Carriage Court). This culvert replacement project is scheduled to be completed by November 30, 2025.

Effective October 24, 2025, Bridge B28 Hampshire Mills Line, located approximately 1.8 kilometres (km) north of Cambrian Road, will be subject to a load limit of five tonnes (11,000 pounds) as a result of recommendations from a structural inspection.
