Gray Street (George Street to Coldwater Road) and Coldwater Road (Gray Street to Robinson Street) will be closed on Friday, September 25 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the Coldwater Fall Fair parade. 

Wainman Line will be temporarily closed near 1542 Wainman Line on Tuesday, September 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the replacement of a cross-road culvert.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Township of Severn will be holding a hybrid Public Meeting on October 7, 2026, during the Council meeting scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Township’s Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane) to consider the following Zoning By-law Amendment application under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

Uhthoff Line will be closed north of Warminster Road on Monday, September 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a culvert replacement. There will be no through traffic at the work area during the closure. Local access will be maintained on either side of the closure, but vehicles will not be able to travel through the work site.

Ian Crichton Memorial Park will be closed to the public on Saturday, September 19, 2026, while crews complete tree removal and tree maintenance throughout the park.

Due to heavy rainfall, Severn Connects scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, at Timberline Park has been cancelled.

Sunset Crescent will be temporarily closed between Community Centre Drive and Gill Street on Wednesday, September 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the replacement of two cross-road culverts.

Township of Severn recognized 10 members of Severn Fire and Emergency Services for reaching significant service milestones during a special ceremony held at the Coldwater Fairgrounds Pavilion on Saturday, September 12.

Washago Centennial Park will be closed to the public on Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15, 2026, while crews complete tree removal and tree maintenance throughout the park.

The Severn Sound Environmental Association (SSEA) has advised that conditions visually consistent with a potential blue-green algae bloom were observed throughout Tea Lake during monitoring on September 3, 2026. SSEA has been monitoring the lake from May through September as part of its ongoing water quality program.
