Township of Severn is currently accepting applications for individuals who are passionate about their community and who want to share their skills and expertise as a member of the Committee of Adjustment.
Severn is looking for one new member for the Committee. The appointment will be from December 6, 2023 through to the end of the Council term of November 2026. Meetings are held in-person on the third Tuesday of each month.
The Committee of Adjustment also acts as the Township’s Property Standards Committee. Background checks (criminal and vulnerable sector) are required.
Members of the committee receive payment of $109.14 for each meeting attended, plus mileage.

Selection process
Council will consider all applications at the November 22, 2023 Corporate Services Committee meeting with the appointments to be finalized by by-law at the December 6, 2023 Council Meeting.
