A portion of the Uhthoff Trail between Coldwater and Fesserton will be closed starting Monday, December 4 at 7:00 a.m. for bridge rehabilitation.
The work will include:
- repairs to perforated areas of the beams
- replacement longitudinal stringers (beams)
- new deck wearing boards
- erosion repair
McPherson-Andrews Contracting Ltd. will be implementing various safety measures, such as:
- security fencing
- project notice signs
- warning signs
Users can continue to use the trail via the Coldwater trailhead and the Fesserton access point, but there will be no through access at either direction at the work location.
The trail is now expected to reopen by Friday, December 22.
