Notice of bridge closure
Trent Severn Waterway (TSW) Parks Canada would like to advise the public of intermittent closures at the Hamlet swing bridge during the week of Monday, November 20 to Friday, November 24, 2023.
The Hamlet swing bridge is located at the intersection of Canning Road (Highway 49) and Peninsula Point Road, about five kilometres west of Severn Bridge.
This closure is required to install railings and an access ladder to the pier. Motorists should expect short delays of approximately 15 to 20 minutes at a time to complete the required work and are asked to plan their routes accordingly.
