Severn is reminding residents of the Public Information Centre (PIC) tomorrow night for the Servicing Master Plan (SMP). Registration is not required as this is a drop-in event.
All are welcome to attend the PIC scheduled for Tuesday, December 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Township's Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn).
The event gives the public an opportunity to view information about the SMP project and meet with the study team.
About the Servicing Master Plan
The Servicing Master Plan (SMP) will evaluate water, wastewater, and stormwater servicing strategies to accommodate growth. The SMP will focus on three primary settlement areas, five rural settlement areas, and two municipal drinking water systems.
The project will include:
- an assessment of existing water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
- evaluation of growth area demands and reserve capacity impact
- provide recommendations on system upgrades and expansions
- provide project timing and cost estimates for the 30-year planning period.
