Get outside and #WalkYourWard

Starting February 14, we're challenging you to share your photographs on social media throughout the year that you think best represent the Severn community. Visit your favourite places, discover new ones, share the places you love in Severn and celebrate what makes our community special. Find your ward and learn more about where you live at severn.ca/wards.

To participate, residents are encouraged to explore their wards on foot, by bike, on skis (or another way that gets you moving), pausing to take pictures of their favourite locations and destinations along the way. From there, images can be uploaded to social media (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) using the hashtag #WalkYourWard for a chance to be featured on Severn's website and social media channels.

"There is so much to see, do, and explore within Severn’s five wards—so much of which is unknown to or overlooked by those who’ve yet to visit. This challenge is a wonderful way to start illuminating some of these things while helping residents break up the doldrums of winter."

Pat Harwood, Manager of Recreation and Facilities
