Studies initiated for Woodrow Road bridge design

About the project

Township of Severn has contracted R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited to complete a detailed design for the replacement of the single-lane bridge on Woodrow Road. 
The work will include:

  • archeological and cultural heritage review
  • environmental monitoring
  • engineering design services
  • legal survey
  • production of drawings and design specifications
This phase of the project will not require any road closures or cause delays to road users. 

The design is anticipated to be complete by winter 2024. Following necessary approvals, the construction of the bridge is estimated to begin in mid-2025.
