Sand bags available for residents

Stations set-up in Washago and Lauderdale Crescent
In response to high water levels, the Township has made self-serve sand bag stations. Sand and burlap bags are provided, but please bring your own shovel to fill them up and take them away. Delivery is not available.
The stations will remain open until the water has receded and is no longer a threat to properties.
Stations- Washago Centennial Park (3376 Quetton Street)
- Lauderdale Point Crescent area (Penninsula Point Road and Bennett Avenue)

About the Bursary Program
The County of Simcoe is committed to working with member municipalities to support the pursuit of higher education. Through the County’s long-standing Education Bursary Program, twenty-one $3,000 bursaries are available to County of Simcoe students attending a post-secondary institution in Canada. One bursary is guaranteed for a resident of each of the County of Simcoe’s sixteen member municipalities.
