Orillia, Ontario: The Orillia detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be conducting a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) Load Restriction Initiative in partnership with the Townships of Severn, Oro-Medonte, Ramara, the City of Orillia, and County of Simcoe, in response to Reduced Load Periods on local roadways. Our Administration Office and all facilities will be closed on Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18 in observance of the holiday. Watermain flushing will be taking place in Coldwater starting Wednesday, April 13 through to Thursday, April 14 during the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some discolouration of water or intermittent drops in water pressure may result from the flushing.
Once the water has cleared and is no longer discoloured, you can resume all regular activities, including drinking. Drinking small quantities of discoloured water does not present a health concern.
