June tax bills issued by regular mail to all properties in transition to new E-Services portal

Township of Severn has launched our new E-Services portal that will allow our community to access tax bills and water and sewer billings online in one secure account. 

Service for our previous e-billing site (E-Commerce) has been discontinued.

Notice of road work: Lovering Line and Lovering Line Bridge

About this project

Township of Severn will be resurfacing the bridge deck of the Lovering Line Bridge and requiring a full closure of the Lovering Line Bridge on Lovering Line (approximately 120 metres south of Upper Big Chute Road).

Construction is anticipated to start on or around August 19, 2024 and is to be completed within three weeks. Work performed on this project is weather dependent and completion may be slightly earlier or later.

Notice of herbicide use for Giant hogweed control on the Uhthoff Trail

Details of control measures

Township of Severn will be undertaking the application of herbicide to occurrences of Giant hogweed located along the Uhthoff Trail, primarily in the areas of Division Road and Carlyon Line, and Uhthoff Line and Foxmead Road. Signage will be placed in the areas of the trail that have been treated.

This work has been scheduled for Monday, June 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Event cancelled: Marchmont Community Park grand opening

The grand opening event scheduled for Saturday, June 22 at Marchmont Community Park (2049 Avery Lane) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. has been cancelled due to expected inclement weather.

The courts will be open for use as of tomorrow. Please observe all posted guidelines and avoid using the courts when wet. Learn more about the Guidelines for Use at: severn.ca/parks.
