Township of Severn snowplow

Notice of snow removal operations on March 8 in Washago

Posted on Tuesday, March 07, 2023 01:58 PM

Snow removal scheduled for Washago

Snow clearing (plowing and sanding) and snow removal (picking up snow and moving it away) are two very different services in Severn. In most cases, snow can be managed within the existing road allowance with snowbank heights not exceeding the height defined by our service level policy. After heavy or continued snowfalls, it sometimes becomes necessary to reduce snow banks in size when they begin to restrict sightlines, travel widths, and pedestrian traffic.
