Severn, Ontario: Township of Severn hosted a service recognition event on November 14 to thank the outgoing members of Council for their contributions.
Mayor Burkett welcomed members of the public, friends and family of the honoured guests, as well as local dignitaries to join the recognition of service.

Notice of road closure
Wainman Line (Foxmead Road to Thorburn Road) will be closed on Wednesday, November 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for road reconstruction. There will be no through access on Foxmead Road to 200 metres south.
All relevant agencies and services have been informed.

Help keep Severn's outdoor rinks open for your community
Severn is seeking volunteers for the Bass Lake Woodlands Park and Washago Community Centre outdoor rinks. Volunteers must be able to work outdoors in the cold and be available weeknights and weekend nights. Training is provided. The outdoor rinks are volunteer-dependent, meaning that they can't exist without community members willing to support them.

Notice of road closure

Place materials curbside by 7:00 a.m.
County of Simcoe’s curbside Leaf and Yard Waste Collection program starts November 7 in Severn. These bi-weekly collections include:
- branches (sized and bundled appropriately)
- garden waste
Residents are reminded to use paper yard waste bags, compostable bags, cardboard boxes, or open-ended rigid containers when placing leaf and yard waste at the curb. Please ensure yard waste falls within the weight limit of 20 kilograms per bag/bundle/container....
